This return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense excitement within the community. From the gradual reveal of newcomers ahead of the game's launch, to trainers developing firm views on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for enthusiasts to anticipate.

Given many of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique appearances that emphasize their traits, one idea came to mind: How can link this with zodiac signs? The following is inspired by a blend of vibes, sign stereotypes, and personal experience.

The Ram – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndoom was nearly chosen for Aries, as they are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that inspire the most fear. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly critical is strongly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked face like a Maiden when you inform them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted face that’s similar to the emoji a Maiden sends to the chatroom when everyone says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a plan.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this gentle, sensitive being, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently compassionate – sometimes to a detriment – and trying to maintain the harmony, there are many Scales who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s skills. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to stress more about everyone else.

Scorpio – Super Banette

Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Discarded as a doll, it became consciousness through pure resentment and swore retribution on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its vindictiveness.” That seems precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpion adores karma and comeuppance, making them the ideal pair with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha
