Squad Ratings: England Victory Secured by Kane's Double in International Qualifier

Throughout a dominant performance, the English national team secured a further triumph versus Albania, featuring a number of players producing memorable displays on the pitch.

Starting Lineup

The goalkeeper Was rarely tested to make before the break before tested by Arbër Hoxha’s curled attempt. A sliding challenge against Qazim Laci highlighted sharp anticipation. 6/10

The debutant Challenged by Albania’s biggest threat through Hoxha. Played through the middle to begin with but moved wider once a teammate was introduced. 7/10

The defender Moved up the pitch with the ball at his feet, as he has done in the past. At times lacked urgency on the ball and the approach discontinued at half-time. 6/10

The tall defender A constant threat at set pieces, typically, perhaps is another option to his teammate in defense as opposed to paired with him. A loose pass after the break came close to the first goal for Albania. 6

Nico O’Reilly One more composed showing by the rising star after his debut versus Serbia. A teammate did not capitalize on the opportunity from a gorgeous flick over the opposing backline. His position is his to lose at this stage. 7/10

The newcomer His maiden beginning for his country. Somewhat loose when playing out however his whipped corners posed a danger. A handy pace-controller for the manager to have versus teams who drop deep. Booked after a reckless challenge. 6/10

Declan Rice Deliveries from corners and free kicks caused problems. Enjoyed freedom to roam in left midfield only to be in an offside position as the pass came in shooting positions. Awarded a well-earned break around the 60-minute point. 6/10

The star midfielder Functioned in a high role down the right and put in defensive duties. Displayed flashes of quality but scuffed a shot wide. Replaced towards the end by Rogers, his competition, after receiving a caution. Seven

Jarrod Bowen Had England’s clearest opportunity of the first half, his strike well saved from the opposing goalkeeper. As a teammate holding position, he was forced to provide width on the right but his crosses into the box were inconsistent. Substituted with 15 to go. Six

Harry Kane The decisive figure netting 77th and 78th goals at international level. His first a trademark opportunist's goal and his next a superb header having drifted away from his marker. Now 32, he continues to improve and England are strong contenders next summer with him up top. Eight

Eberechi Eze Had difficulty to influence play from the left. Had a good opening following a pass from a teammate but the keeper made the save. His replacement produced a bigger an impact in his place. 5/10
