Soccer Analyst Chris Sutton Battles Artist Murs in Premier League Predictions

The Gunners' ten-match winning streak was ended by Sunderland prior to the global hiatus, however will the English top division leaders recover against north London rivals Spurs this weekend?

"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham at the moment but Spurs manager Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this game," remarked soccer expert Chris Sutton.

"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this season - but Mikel Arteta's team typically still find a way to win."

Sutton is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League fixtures this term, against artificial intelligence, fans and a variety of guests.

For the twelfth round, he takes on performer Olly Murs, who is a United supporter.

Murs' new album, the new release, is available on Friday.

Soccer and Parenting Experiences

Murs is a talented footballer as well as a successful singer and has been a featured player of multiple charity football games down the years - but he is not intending a professional comeback as a footballer.

"{I actually played in a charity game the other night for a friend of mine," he said. "My team was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the second half, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you want!

"I continue to love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it still hasn't fully recovered. I wish I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too risky for me in my career to do it seriously again.

"Additionally I am 41 now, and we are not all Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very content not playing football and I am preparing for the moment that my daughter or boy chooses to play instead."

The singer and his spouse Amelia Tank have a young family, Madison and Albert, and he is ready to emulate his dad by becoming their coach.

"I will not force football on our kids but I've previously told Amelia that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be coaching their weekend football team," he added.

"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I really got into it, and I clearly owned a football club for a period too.

"My father did it with us when I was a child, which is likely where I inherited it. He managed our team for several years and had great fun with it. That might be the future for me as well, and I am excited to it!"

Top Division Forecasts

Weekend, 22 November

  • Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT

Chelsea may have to wait a bit longer for their star's comeback from fitness issues but their offense is already more potent with Joao Pedro and Delap both returned to fitness.

In my opinion this fixture will be fairly close, however. The Clarets are disciplined and their sole home defeats so far have been against the Reds and Arsenal.

It suggests a one-all draw to me, but I am actually going to choose Chelsea to win narrowly for what would be their third consecutive Premier League win in a row.

The expert's prediction: 1-2

Olly's pick: Chelsea will be too strong. 1-3

Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2

  • Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Cherries have been defeated in their past two games - albeit both of them were on the road - but they got absolutely spanked by Aston Villa last time out which surprised me.

In contrast, West Ham won two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they appear strong again.

West Ham's only away win this campaign came at Forest in August, when West Ham boss Nuno Espirito Santo was previously that team's manager.

So, what on earth do I go with here - can West Ham continuing their run under their manager, or Bournemouth bouncing back?

I will go with Bournemouth, because I believe what happened against Villa was a anomaly.

The pundit's forecast: 2-0

The guest's prediction: The home team are performing strongly but the visitors have picked up under Nuno. 2-2

AI's prediction: 1-1

  • Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT

The Bees were considered one of the favourites for the drop before the season began, but they have surprised a several observers under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three in their last four matches.

A family member told me to select Brentford forward Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks back and, guess what, I didn't listen.

Thiago will likely find the net again on Saturday but I am nonetheless not going to select him or support Brentford at Brighton's ground.

The Bees have not had great fortune on the road this season, and the Seagulls are always strong at home. The visitors will attempt to attack on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's side pose much more of a threat.

The analyst's forecast: 2-1

The singer's view: It could be one of those games where you expect there is going to be a lot of goals but it in reality turns out to be rather tight. 1-1

The computer's prediction: 2-1

  • Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT

It is a huge game for Fulham, who have suffered defeat in five of their last six matches.

Fulham have have plenty of talent in their team but it nonetheless seems like they could be sucked into a drop zone fight.

Regarding Sunderland, well they are the unexpected success of the top flight season so far.

Their display in the two-all tie with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We've not seen anyone else rough up the North London side like that this season, and Sunderland were more than a match for them.

The sensible thing to do to support the visitors here, because they are obviously able of roughing Fulham up too and, the previous occasion they were in this part of London, they defeated Chelsea at the end of last month.

However I am not going to choose that. Rather, I really need to continue opposing Sunderland with my forecasts. I am claiming a lot of responsibility for their good results because they evidently love to defy my predictions.

Considering the home side's home form, the only team they have been defeated by is Arsenal. Marco Silva's team will be absolutely desperate for a positive result, so I am going to say they will secure three much-needed points.

The expert's prediction: 1-0

The guest's choice: I'm aware the visitors are doing well and additionally that Fulham are on a poor run... but they have still been decent at home this campaign. 2-0

AI's outlook: 2-0

  • Anfield, 15:00 GMT

This is a tough fixture to predict. The Reds have lost seven of their last ten games in every tournament, but could they be one of the sides who benefit from the {international break|
